1. GENERAL
Soul of Tokyo is an online store specializing in original, one-of-a-kind anime production artwork, including cels and drawings. Due to the unique and collectible nature of our items, the following policies apply to all purchases.
2. PRODUCT CONDITION & FINAL SALE POLICY
All items sold on Soul of Tokyo are authentic collectibles, typically used in the production of Japanese animation. As such, each item is sold as-is and is subject to natural variations in condition, including age-related wear.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once an order is placed. Please review all product images and descriptions carefully before purchasing. If you have questions about an item’s condition, please contact us prior to completing your order.
3. SHIPPING, INSURANCE & DAMAGE POLICY
We take great care in packaging and shipping your artwork securely. All orders are shipped fully insured to protect against loss or damage during transit. In the event that your package arrives damaged, you must initiate a claim directly with the shipping carrier. We will provide full support in the claims process, including documentation where necessary, but we are not responsible for damages that occur in transit. 4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All website content—including product photography, written descriptions, layout, and branding—is the property of Soul of Tokyo and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without our written permission.
While Soul of Tokyo owns the physical production artwork offered for sale, the underlying characters, titles, and related intellectual property depicted in that artwork remain the property of their respective studios, creators, and copyright holders. Soul of Tokyo does not claim any rights to those properties and presents the artwork solely as original, authenticated production materials for collectors and fans, in accordance with fair use and resale principles.
5. PROMOTIONAL COMMUNICATIONS
By using this Site or providing us with your contact information, you agree to receive occasional promotional messages and materials from Soul of Tokyo via email or other contact methods you provide (such as phone number or mailing address). These may include updates on new arrivals, special offers, or company news.
If you prefer not to receive promotional communications, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions included in our emails or by contacting us directly.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Soul of Tokyo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our website or from any product purchased through it.

8. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION
These Terms, and any disputes or claims related to your use of this Site or your purchase of products from Soul of Tokyo, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California, and you hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply to any transaction conducted through this Site.
9. CHANGES TO TERMS
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes are effective upon posting.
