This three-layer (B30/C30/D28) cel is from CUT 571.  Comes with unstuck a partial douga (B30) and unstuck non-matching color copy background from AKIRA. All three cels are stuck slightly off-set. Cel is in very good condition with some moderate traceline fade as typical in cels of this vintage. A small amount of paint missing from the girl's eyelid line as shown. Image size 8.25 inches by 5.25 inches. The overall size is 10.25 inches by 14.25 inches. Comes protected in fresh polypropylene cel bags for safe shipping.
 
Includes a Certificate of Authenticity stating that this art was used in the production of the Akira movie. Created by legendary director, Katsuhiro Otomo, over thirty years later this film remains the greatest technical achievement in the history of cel animation. It's still one of the top-grossing animated films of all time. The June 2002 issue of Wired Magazine ranks Akira among the top 20 greatest SF films of all time and is the only animated feature listed among such films as Blade Runner and Star Wars.
