Up for sale is an original, one-of-a-kind anime production cel used for the making of the Deprive short from Robot Carnival done by Hidetoshi Omori (Dunbine, Guyver, Gundam Seed, and the Animation Director for the Final Fantasy VII games).

An awesome image of the good guy robot when he fights against an evil robot. This C11 cel comes with a matching color copy background which is stuck to cel. A1-End cel layer, that includes the evil robot's body, was photocopied onto the background - please check the first image. The cel is in very good condition with some moderate traceline fade and minor dents as expected in cels of this vintage. There are small cracks and staple holes around the middle registered hole. Cel and background are stapled together at two places at the top. Includes the certificate of authenticity. Image size is 6 inches by 7.5 inches and the overall size is 10.25 inches by 12.25 inches. The last picture is the screenshot from this scene. Come protected for shipping in a fresh polypropylene bag.

Robot Carnival has been compared to Disney's Fantasia in feeling and setup, in that it is a collection of nine shorts by several different directors, put together, and containing only music (with a few exceptions). The difference, as the title suggests, is that this feature focuses on robots. It's wrapped by a Katsuhiro Otomo (creator of Akira) opening and ending. This 1980s anime classic was an inspiration for the Netflix hit show Love, Death + Robots.
