A dramatic original Bastard Yoko production cel featuring Tia Noto Yoko from Bastard!! Heavy Metal, Dark Fantasy, the 1992–1993 OVA adaptation of Kazushi Hagiwara’s dark fantasy manga.
Yoko is the main heroine of Bastard!! and one of the central emotional forces of the story. As the daughter of the Great Priest Geo Noto Soto, she plays a key role as the one person capable of controlling the dangerous and wildly powerful wizard Dark Schneider.
This cel appears at approximately 1:39 of Episode 2, just after Yoko awakens from a dream in which Dark Schneider is seducing her. The scene takes place at dawn in her bedroom, which gives the shot its intentionally dark, moody lighting and atmospheric early-1990s OVA look.
The cel is marked C-9 / A6 and captures Yoko in a striking close-up moment with expressive eyes, dramatic shadowing, and strong display presence. One of the better images of Yoko in the series. This is an authentic hand-painted production cel created for the making of the anime. It is not a reproduction, print, or fan-made item.
