Original, one-of-a-kind production cel with key master original background used for the making of Hirohiko Araki's Jojo's Bizarre Adventure animation series. CG artwork for the Jojo 2012 series, released in honor of the 25th anniversary of the manga, can't match the gorgeous hand-painted traditional cel art of the original six-episode series released in 1993. This is from the 2nd episode of the original 1993 six-episode OVA series (9th overall), entitled: Iggy the Fool and N'Dool the GEB (Pt. II).
The memorable scene of Jotaro Kujo talking to N'Dool as he lays dying. This is a five-layer (A1E/B2/V2E/D18/E1) key-master set-up with original matching hand-painted background, hand-drawn genga corrections, copy layout, and partial douga as shown. This is a true one-of-a-kind!
Cels are in very good condition, with some moderate trace line fade as typically found in cels of this vintage. There are a few specks of paint missing. Also, the E-layer cel has a couple of very small tears around the right registration hole. Please see all photos for conditions. Genga and douga have some minor creases and paint transfer. Image size is 8 inches by 10 inches. The overall size is 10.75 inches by 15 inches. This beautiful piece of animation art comes protected in a fresh polypropylene cel bag for safe shipping.
