We are proud to offer this original, one-of-a-kind anime cel used in the making of the 1993 Kawajiri masterpiece, Ninja Scroll. Almost all of the cels from this movie were destroyed by the studio, Madhouse, so any art is extremely rare. Minowa Yutaka's phenomenal character designs in combination with Kawajiri's writing and direction made Ninja Scroll one of the most popular anime movies of all time.  

Gorgeous close-up image of ex-Yamashiro ninja, Jubei Kibagami, when he hears chanting coming from the temple. It turns out to be a praying “nun,” who is actually Mushizo, one of the Eight Devils of Kimon, in disguise. One of the best close-up shots of Jubei in the film.
