Original production cel from the 1996 Tetsuwan Birdy (Birdy the Mighty) OVA series, based on the manga by Masami Yuki and animated by Madhouse under the direction of Ninja Scroll’s Yoshiaki Kawajiri.
 
This hand-painted cel features a striking image of Birdy Cephon Altera, the series’ powerful and headstrong protagonist, moments after one of the OVA’s most intense scenes. It comes from Episode 3, titled “Double Trouble,” during the climactic rooftop battle against Bachilus—a grotesque, bio-mutated alien criminal who absorbs Birdy into his monstrous form, only to violently expel her in a surge of raw energy.
 
The cel includes a non-matching color copy background for added visual depth and presentation value.
