This anime cel and hand-drawn drawing was used in the creation of the highly acclaimed 1993 original video animation (OVA) Battle Angel, known in Japan as Gunnm and based on the manga series by Yukito Kishiro. The OVA was directed by Hiroshi Fukutomi and jointly produced by KSS Inc., Movic, Animate, and Madhouse.
 
This powerful image of Daisuke Ido fills the cel and is from the intense scene when he takes revenge on Victor for tricking Yugo. You can see it here at 47:24 sec. The fourth image here is a screencap of the scene.
 
This A5 anime cel and matching partial drawing are from cut 345. The cel is in very good condition, with traceline fade, as expected in a cel of this vintage. Thick paint layer on his hat brim creates some light ripples in the cel. The partial douga is stuck to the back of the cel facing out and can not be removed. The hand-drawn douga drawing adds an extra layer of authenticity to this piece of anime history.
