We are proud to offer this original, one-of-a-kind anime production cel from the Martian Successor Nadesico TV series, Episode 19: "You're the Next 'Captain' of the Nadesico," broadcasted in 1997. The character designs were done by Kia Asamiya of Studio Tron and Keiji Gotoh, directed by Tatsuo Satō, and produced by Production I.G. subsidiary XEBEC. The series was first broadcast on TV Tokyo between October 1, 1996, and March 24, 1997, lasting 26 episodes.

Mr. Keiji Gotou worked on the character design and was the animation director for this particular episode. The ultimate shot of Yurika looking like an idol (echoing Minmay & Priss). Comes with unstuck matching douga pencil and non-matching color copy background as shown. The last picture is the screen capture from this scene. The cel is in very good condition with some moderate trace line fade as expected in cels of this vintage. Douga is in very good condition and has some extra paint and some minor wrinkles or creases.
