Up for sale is an original, one-of-a-kind production cel used for the making of Toei Animation's ultra-popular Dragon Ball anime, based on the Weekly Shōnen Jump manga by Akira Toriyama. Dragon Ball series aired in Japan on Fuji TV from 1986 to 1989 and has since been broadcast in at least 81 countries worldwide.

 

Amazing close-up image of King Piccholo's minion, Cymbal, from "Here Comes Yajirobe," the fourth episode of the King Piccolo Saga. This episode first aired in Japan on March 16, 1988. This A19 cel is in very good condition with some moderate trace line fade found in Toei Anime cels of this vintage. It comes with a matching douga pencil drawing which is stuck to the back of the cel facing out and slightly offset, as shown. This anime cel comes shipped in a fresh archival polypropylene bag. The overall art size is 9. inches by 10 inches.
